Important warning

I am issuing an important warning to everyone trying to be creative. It might be illegal! A high school student was arrested last tuesday for making terrorist threats. This is serious stuff: the judge raised the student's bond from one to five thousand dollars, citing the seriousness of the charge. The grounds for the charge were some papers that were found at his home, written by the student, but the he claims that it was only fiction. The student, William Poole, says to his defense: "It's a fake story. I made it up. I've been working on one of my short stories, (and) the short story they found was about zombies. Yes, it did say a high school. It was about a high school over ran by zombies."

So, this is important, kids! If you're writing horror zombie stories, make sure it's not illegal where you live!

Yep, the rumors are true. You can now check the latest stories with your cell phone. Yeah, I know! Too cool! Now, try it:

The Rating system has changed. Three reviews are now required before the rating is calculated.
Also on ratings, there's a discussion in the forums about the stuff.

Why HELLO there. And I WONDERED why nobody was WRITING on my lovely site. And then it came to me: Maybe they CAN'T. Maybe I have messed up the code so BADLY that you could neither submit STORIES nor REVIEWS. And lo! It was so! But don't worry. It's all fixed now. Be sure to be creative and bash other's work with no mercy.

Yeah yeah, I know, the search is still buggy, but it's hella lot better than before. And hey, I got some structural changes coming up. My old code from 2002 and 2003 SUCKS. And yeah, I might actually throw in some book support and even login while I'm at it. Yep. One can at least hope.

I need to do an editorial.php, where I can rant about new, really cool stories that get their way around here. Exciting times! People have found this place now at last... A big 'lo! to Marcus!

You thought the old design looked dull and unprofessional? Well, so did I. I have totally redesigned the site. Curious about how it looked before? It's still up, have a look! :)

Apart from the redesign, since 0922, common.php has been built. It contains, well, common things, like drawing a story listing, or the headbar up there. The CSS has been rewritten. It all still looks best in OmniWeb.
